San Javier Jazz is again betting on young Spanish jazz talent, this time with the debut of Catalan pianist Albert Marquis (Barcelona 1986), whose youth is a factor which increases amazement at the creativity and artistic maturity of this artist, who is called to be, in short, one of the towering figures of jazz in our country. Accompanied by Pep Colls on bass and Xavi Hinojosa on drums, the San Javier Jazz concert will be enriched by the presence of a distinguished veteran, guitarist Jordi Bonell, who visits our festival for the third time after some memorable performances. Albert currently lives in New York, and plays in Arturo O'Farrill's Big Band, a good sign of his top level.
