The Catalonian pianist and composer Jaume Vilaseca, with a degree in Hispanic Studies, is one of the most versatile musicians in Spanish jazz, a master of the fusion of jazz with flamenco, Latin music, rock and Indian music. The brilliant concert he performed in Jazz San Javier in 2011 was a good indication, this year he offers a highly interesting project for the festival; a first part to present his new album Jazznesis II, a new incursion into the music of the British group Genesis, recreated in a key of jazz, and for the second part, the presentation of his new album with the sitar virtuoso Ravi Chari, one of the most prestigious musicians in India, with the participation in both parts of the concert of singer Mar Vilaseca, one of the revelations of the new Catalonian Jazz.
