Joscho Stephan belongs to a new generation of guitar virtuosos who are introducing new and fresh stylistic elements to Gypsy Jazz. Created in the 1930s by the legendary Django Reinhardt, Gypsy Jazz, Jazz Manouche or Gypsy Swing was Europe's first completely original contribution to the development of jazz.
Joscho is not only the best guitarist of this style in Germany, but one of the best and most spectacular European guitarists. With him and his fantastic trio is the impressive violinist Sandro Roy, another of the treasures of German jazz, who has been compared to the legendary Stéphane Grappelli. Sandro has a brilliant career in both classical and jazz music.
Two greats of German jazz from the best of the first division of jazz in the European Union.
