Brazilian pianist, singer and composer Eliane Elias, several times nominated to the Grammy Awards, has a delicate and sensual musical style, with deep roots in bossa nova and the musical genres of Brazil. All her albums have reached number five on the charts, and some have even reached number 1. In Japan four of her albums were honored with Gold Records, including her last three. In 2007, Something for You, was named Best Vocal Album. In 2008 Eliane Elias was the artist who sold the second most albums in France. For years Eliane has been touring around annually playing at the best jazz festivals in the World and her piano playing style, her wonderful arrangements and her marvelous vocal interpretations have placed her among the giants of jazz and bossa nova music.
