Winner of the 2012 “The Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition” for drums, one of the most prestigious awards for jazz artists in the United States, Jamison Ross is not only one of the brightest young jazz drummers of the last decade, but also a magnificent singer and group leader, as evidenced by the fact that he won the 2018 award of Down Beat magazine for the best male singer of rising stars.
