Saxophonist and composer Bill Evans is one of the most iconic drummers of Jazz San Javier, where he has shown his expertise on numerous and eclectic projects throughout the festival's history. Bill, who had a distinguished career since his beginnings with legendary trumpeter Miles Davis, with whom he recorded all his albums from 1980-1984. Evans also recorded and toured with John McLaughlin, Mick Jagger, Herbie Hancock and Michael Franks, amongst others. On this occasion, he visits Jazz San Javier leading his spectacular Soulgrass Band, an original blend of jazz, rock, funk and bluegrass and American folk which includes the prestigious singer and drummer Josh Dion.
