 |

Substituting Leny Andrade, Jazz San Javier offers all aficionados an exquisite treat: trumpet player Raynald Colom and his sextet. He is a musician with a meteoric career which has placed him in the pinnacle of jazz in our country fr the past few years. Fans in San Javier remember him well because of his participation in the historic concert "Luis Salinas and Friends" in Musicas del Alma Festival, which was recorded on DVD and which constitutes one of the best concerts in the great Argentinian guitarists career.
Today, considered a Spanish jazz star, and after his success last year in France, during the Marciac Jazz Festival, where he was the only Spanish performer along with Paco de Lucia, Raynald Colom debuts in San Javier with a high level sextet, in what promises to be one of the best concerts of the XIV edition of the festival.

The return of legendary pianist Ramsey Lewis, this time with his Electric Band and with a Jazz-Funk project, a genre which he invented. Jazz Rock supergroup Chicago's first concert in Spain; the return of Eric Burdon & The Animals, and two of the world's most prestigious big bands, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, and the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra with special guest John Pizzarelli are some of the highlights of this year's program. |
