Member of the legendary rock group Jethro Tull for 43 years, the exquisite guitarist from Birmingham, Martin Barre has been, along with Ian Anderson's voice and flute, the band's most distinguishable seal. Apart from his work with the band, since 1990, he has developed a parallel solo career and has recorded six albums. Barre is one of the most prestigious guitarists in Europe, his solo on the song "Aqualung" was voted by readers of Guitar Player magazine as the greatest of its time. Mark Knopfler described his work on Jethro Tull as "magical". He has also played with Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Gary Moore and Joe Bonamassa, whom consider him to be an extraordinary guitarist. Along with his band, Martin Barre will perform some Jethro Tull classics and some of the best songs from his solo career, in an essential concert for rock lovers.
