The great Catalonian composer Federico Mompou (1893-1987), famous for his music rooted in impressionism and expressed above all through small piano pieces, is the main focus of the performace which will be brought to us by three excellent musicians from the Community of Valencia: Daniel Picazo, a classically trained pianist, double bassist Diego de Lera, and drummer Felipe Cucciardi. A concert which will be right on the edge between classical music and jazz. They will be accompanied by two great wind musicians from the Valencian jazz scene, saxophonist Kiko Berenguer and trumpetist Voro García. Also joining them will be mezzo-soprano Carmen Bou and David Forés on cello. A rare and romantic concert which will combine jazz with best Spanish music of the 20th century.
