There have been few debuts of a jazz pianist at our festival as brilliant and extraordinary as the one offered by the Italian pianist residing in Paris, Giovanni Mirabassi and his trio during the XV edition of the festival. However, Mirabassi is also a giant of the solo piano, and his albums with no accompaniment other than his piano, like Avanti, Cantopiano or Adelante are real marvels to behold, something we will be able to enjoy during the first part of this concert. In the second part he will perform alongside the exceptional French singer Melanie Daham, whom he recorded the album La Princesse Et Les Croque-Notes in 2009. She is a true jewel to be discovered.
