Antonio Lizana is a saxophonist, singer, arranger, and an inspired composer. This Cádiz native, is one of the brightests talents to emerge in the Spanish jazz scene in recent decades. Antonio studied classical saxophone at music conservatories in San Fernando and Cadiz, and Jazz Studies at Musikene: Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco. De Viento, his first album shows us a mature musician who is able to connect, with incredible ease, high level jazz and flamenco, alongside a great band with fantastic compositions that stand out as some of the best Spanish jazz in recent years. We expect a great many things out of this young talent and look forward to a concert that aims to be on of the highlights of this year's festival.
