In 2013 the Blues Foundation inducted Joe Louis Walker into the Blues Hall of Fame, amongst the likes of B.B. King, Koko Taylor, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Etta James, Howlin' Wolf and many others. "A dream come true," said Joe Louis, who has earned the status of living blues legend, and is widely recognized as on of the most brilliant blues guitarists. Rolling Stone Magazine classifies his guitar solos as "ferocious", and The New York Times raves "Walker is a singer with a Cadillac of a voice". For the second time in Jazz San Javier, Joe Louis Walker will present his latest album Hornet's Nest, where his music converges, in equal parts, between the pure fire of rock and roll, and the passion of blues. It will be a high level blues concert to close out the 18th edition of the festival.
