The legendary Jazz Fusion group Pegasus, formed in Barcelona in 1981 by four prestigious musicians: Josep Mas “Kitflus”, Max Sunyer, Santi Arisa and Rafael Escoté. In 2008 they were joined by percussionist Dan Arisa, son of Santi Arisa. Pegasus is one of the most recognized groups in Spanish Jazz, and definitely the one in Catalonia who has best developed instrumental Jazz Fusion with Mediterranean inspirations. With ten albums in their full career, and having performed in the most prestigious festivals and stages, Pegasus is also one of the most beloved by the public in Spain, which could be seen in their well remembered Jazz San Javier concert of 2014. For decades Pegasus has been a purely instrumental formation, but this time they will premiere a new project alongside American singer Monica Green been living in Barcelona since 1982, and who will, for the first time, voice some songs from their repertoire.
