Ximo Tebar, our most international jazz guitarist has a long musical history, and long relationship with Jazz San Javier, where he has performed on four occassions. It's also important to note that he was the very first performer in the history of our festival. His collaborations with Dennis Rowland, Lonnie Smith, and Rossa Passos are golden moments in the history of our festival. We could not miss the opportunity to have him peform on our 20th anniversary, presenting his new album Soleo, in which he delves and celebrates twenty-five years of Mediterranean Jazz, a style where he is one its key representatives, and which along with Flamenco Jazz traces its origins to Spanish Jazz. With a magnificent band which includes the spectacular drummer Nathaniel Towsnley, bassist Darryl Hall, pianist Luis Guerra, and a very special guest, Carmen Rodríguez, the voice of Dúo La Plata. Ximo Tebar returns home where we eagerly anticipate his return.
