Attending one of Luis Salinas’ performances is one the few chances aficionados will have to truly witness the marvell of the guitar. Guitarist, singer, and composer, Luis crosses with ease between different genres like: Argentinian Folk, tango, jazz, latin music, blues rock to create a torrent of beauty. Ever since Tommy LiPuma (Al Jarreau’s, George Benson’s and Miles Davis’ producer) produced his two excellent albums “Salinas” and “Rosario” for the record label GRP, Luis Salinas has not ceased to amaze us with his successive and marvellous albums, each better than the last. An icon of Jazz San Javier, where this giant of the guitar is fondly remembered, and a source of pride for the Ibero-American community.
