Jazz San Javier welcomes back Nine Below Zero, whose first visit to the festival during the ninth edition of the festival left evidence of their extremely high level. Founded in London in 1977, during the English punk-rock boom, its inspiration was somewhat different, with sights on Chicago blues and influenced by John Mayall, The Kinks and The Who. Nevertheless they maintained a punk influence through their extremely energetic performances during the band's live shows. Considered by the critics to be the Dr. Feelgood's greatest rivals, the band has experimented changes in its lineup, hanging on to its two frontmen, Dennis Greaves on the guitar and vocals and Mark Feltham on harmonica and vocals, and presenting a superband with eight members for the tour for the magnificent new album "13 Shades of Blue".
