In the wake of other greats of flamenco jazz, such as Chano Domínguez, Dorantes or Marco Mezquida, the pianist Daniel García, a native of Salamanca and a student at Berklee College in Boston, where he received the award for the best jazz performance in 2011, is leading this modality of jazz, so identified with Spain, towards new horizons.
His quality as a composer and his brilliant performance as a performer have not gone unnoticed in Europe, and the prestigious German record label ACT has released his album "Travesuras" which he recorded with two magnificent Cuban musicians, Reinier "El Negrón" on the double-bass and Michael Olivera on the drums. In this first visit to San Javier the Trio will be joined by the extraordinary violinist Maureen Choi.
