This edition, San Javier Jazz will offer their fans two concerts by the great Swedish singer and multi-instrumentalist Gunhild Carling, an exceptional artist who, in addition to brilliantly playing trombone, her main instrument, plays trumpet, bagpipes, flute, banjo, double bass, guitar, piano, ukulele, oboe, harp, and harmonica, and is a competent tap dancer.
With influences from Louis Armstrong, Jerry Roll Morton and Billie Holiday, his career has reached milestones such as his concert before King Carl Gustav of Sweden in 2013, celebrating his 70th birthday, or his adaptations of pop music themes to jazz with the well-known group Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox.
Her vintage style, her personal charisma and her vital energy that she exudes on stage have made her a versatile artist admired throughout the world.
