Born in Havana, the prestigious Cuban pianist Alfredo Rodríguez comes from a family of musicians. His father, Alfredo Rodríguez (better known as Alfredito) has been a popular singer, actor and television presenter in Cuba for decades.

Trained at the music conservatories of Havana and at the "Instituto Superior de Arte", Alfredo was playing at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2007 when the legendary musician and producer Quincy Jones fell in love with the art of this great pianist, sponsoring him since then his unstoppable career as a jazz star.

His concerts are a compendium of beauty, mystery and rhythm, with all the flavor of Cuban music. We look forward to his debut at Jazz San Javier.
