The first record on which the word jazz appeared was recorded by the Original Dixieland Band in January 1917 in New York. This musical genre, which emerged specifically in New Orleans, Louisiana, has had an extraordinarily rich evolution giving rise to numerous styles, one of which, swing jazz or simply swing, was the dominant genre in the 1930s.
One of the best swing groups in Spain is precisely the Murcian band Zoot Suiters, a factory of joy, optimism and good music, which integrates into its repertoire great swing classics and magnificent pop versions adapted to the swing.
Its previous visits to Jazz San Javier were unforgettable, don't miss its next concert in the Plaza de España.
