With a long musical experience, in which he has absorbed the best of the musical genres that he considers his roots: mainly flamenco and copla, and also tango, boleros and Cuban son, the Almeria singer José Luis Jaén has been adding a growing passion for jazz in recent years.
With a heartbreaking voice, one of those that leaves a mark on the soul, José Luis Jaén has collaborated with artists as beloved in Jazz San Javier as Dorantes, Zenet or Pepe Rivero, and with Latin American stars such as the Mexican Carlos Cuevas or the Colombian Chabuco.
The extraordinary group that accompanies him deserves special mention: the great Valencian pianist Alex Conde, one of the best specialists in our country in the fusion between jazz and copla, the prestigious double bassist and bassist José Manuel Posada “Popo”, the spectacular drummer David León and one of the most respected Andalusian guitarists, Paco Rivas.
A great premiere at Jazz San Javier by one of the best vocalists in Spain, an example of passion and dedication on stage.
