The San Javier Jazz Festival has a blues soul, and so does its loyal audience, so we're thrilled to present to fans the Murcia Region debut of one of the greatest talents to emerge in American blues in the last decade.

D.K. Harrell's debut album, "The Right Man on Little Village," became the second most-played blues album on US radio in 2023 upon its release. In 2024, he was honored with "Best Emerging Artist" at the prestigious Blues Music Awards.

D.K. has burst onto the blues scene in a big way, following in the tradition and style of legends like Albert King and, most notably, B.B. King, his great role model.

A magnificent guitarist and great composer, this young talent from Louisiana has aroused the admiration of blues greats such as Charlie Musselwhite, Bobby Rush, and Susan Tedeschi; we have no doubt that the closing night of the 27th edition of Jazz San Javier will be a memorable date in his career.
