Directed by bassist Ivan Kovacevic, the Barcelona Big Blues Band is one of the most respected orchestras in the field of Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Swing and Jazz in Spain. With an energetic sound, wild but at the same time sophisticated, which includes magnificent solos and a keen sense of showmanship. The band has been undeniably influenced by great classic bands like Johnny Otis or T-Bone Walker, but also from the softer more sophisticated sound of the Brian Setzer Orchestra or Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. In their first visit to Jazz San Javier they will perform with two very special guests: the spectacular saxophonist Dani Nel.lo (Los Rebeldes, Mamo Jambo), and the extraordinary British singer and tenor saxophonist Ray Gelato "The Godfather of Swing", one of the most respected musicians in Europe.
