An interesting encounter between the great North American guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli, one of Jazz San Javier’s favorite artists, and Brazilian pianist, guitarist and singer Daniel Jobim, grandson of the legendary Antonio Carlos Jobim. They will be joined by other great Brazilian instrumentalists like pianist Helio Alves, drummer Duduka da Fonseca. The concert will focus on the enduring music of Antonio Carlos Jobim and will also include some American standards with bossa nova arrangements. There will be special attention to some songs from the Sinatra-Jobim álbum which marked the Golden Age of Bossa Nova, which will come to life again in the hands of these extraordinary artists.
