Born in the Caribean on the island of Guadalupe, Tricia Evy moved to Paris in 2006. An admirer of the great ladies of classic Jazz like Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday, she has earned respect in the always competitive French Jazz scene, with her two albums “Beginning” and “Meet Me” and her spectacular concerts which combine her own compositions with Antillean Folk songs and Jazz standards which certify her as one of the new figures in European Jazz. Alongside four excellent musicians, well known by the Jazz San Javier audience, and an exceptional guest, the presitigiopus trumpet player and singer from the U.S., Ronal Baker, who has visited us on two previous occassions with Ignasi Terraza.
