Zalon, considered one of the best soul singers in the United Kingdom, became known like the leader of the Amy Winehouse’s Choir, and vocal director of the posthumous disc of the London soul diva "Lioness: Hidden Treasures". After the disappearance of Amy, Zalon has followed an unstoppable career of concerts on stages around the world, showing his seductive and electrifying voice to a great variety of audiences and consolidating himself as one of the few soul artists with the necessary charisma and musical wisdom to compare with the great singers of the golden age of that genre. For its premiere at Jazz San Javier, Zalon is accompanied by an extraordinary band of seven British musicians, plus three vocalists, and will offer us a concert in three parts, a selection of great soul classics, which will take us to the times of Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield or James Brown; a tribute to Amy Winehouse with several of the diva's immortal themes and another with Zalon's own themes.
