In the XVIII edition of Jazz San Javier, we presented, in his first concert in Spain, the fantastic vocalist, pianist and composer of Glen Falls (New York), Tony DeSare, jazz musician and crooner in the tradition of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, who left an extraordinary memory, not only for his great qualities as a pianist and singer and for the group of excellent musicians of his quartet, but also for his friendliness and charisma on stage. In these four years, the romantic style, sensuous and full of swing with which he plays the Great American Songbook, has consolidated him as one of the great revivalists, along with John Pizzarelli, Harry Connick Jr. and Peter Cincotti. In fact, John's father, Bucky Pizzarelli, performed frequently with him early in his career. It is a pleasure to receive again Tony DeSare and his quartet in Jazz San Javier, in this occasion with the special collaboration of the prestigious Spanish harmonica player Antonio Serrano.
