The band founded by guitarist and singer Joey Burns and drummer John Convertino in Tucson (Arizona), is the clearest example of how much beauty the mix of North American independent rock and the Latin musical tradition can generate.

With twelve fantastic albums in its discography, the last of which is “El Mirador” (2022), Calexico released a special edition in 2023 celebrating the 20th anniversary of its album “Feast of Wire”, a masterful album, a pleasant memory for lovers of frontier rock.

In its first concert at Jazz San Javier, Calexico will offer us a review of his extensive repertoire, with special attention to the acclaimed album “Feast of Wire.”
