Cuban pianist and composer, artistic director of the Havana Jazz Festival, nominated several times for the Latin Grammy Awards and former member of the Buena Vista Social Club, Roberto Fonseca is one of the brightest talents that Cuba has given to the world of jazz in recent decades.
There will be few occasions to demonstrate this more clearly than in the presentation at Jazz San Javier of his extraordinary latest album “La Gran Diversión”, a return to the past in search of the roots of Afro-Cuban music, reliving the golden age of the mambo or the bolero, accompanied by an impressive band.
A concert that will leave its mark on the history of the festival, led by one of Cuba's greatest musicians.
