Swiss violinist and vocalist Eva Slongo is one of the most promising additions to jazz violin in recent decades. With a strong classical background, Eva acknowledges that she found a refreshing freedom of expression in jazz improvisation.
In her beautifully crafted albums, she has managed to harmonize these two musical worlds, which form the foundation of her artistic identity.
To bring this musical richness to life, Eva is joined by an outstanding quartet, featuring the extraordinary Italian pianist Giovanni Mirabassi, who is based in Paris and well known and admired by the Jazz San Javier audience as one of Europe's most prestigious jazz pianists. Accompanying them are the acclaimed French musician brothers, François and Louis Moutin, on double bass and drums, respectively.
A concert that promises the highest expectations.
