A long-awaited encounter at Jazz San Javier with one of the most prestigious flamenco singers of today and an exceptional interpreter of bolero and the radiant treasure of the finest Hispano-American songbook.
Since her 1996 album "Free Boleros" with the late, great pianist Tete Montoliu, Mayte Martín has been recognized as an artist capable of brilliantly bridging these genres with jazz.
Her discography is profoundly beautiful, with standout albums such as "Tiempo de Amar" (2003), "Al Cantar a Manuel" (2009), "Cosas de Dos" (2012), and her most recent work, "Tatuajes" (2024). From these, especially the latest, Mayte Martín will present a selection, accompanied by four outstanding musicians, in a concert that will undoubtedly enhance the history of the festival.
