What better way to kick off the 28th edition of Jazz San Javier than by presenting fans with a concert in Plaza de España by Soulift, whom many call “Madrid’s best-kept secret”?

This fantastic Madrid-based band fuses soul, funk, and reggae in its own unique style with hints of gospel, and is composed of musicians from four countries and three continents: Nigeria, Cameroon, the United States, and Spain.

Wonderful voices led by the great vocalist Amos Obasohan, fantastic instrumentalists, and a hypnotic, powerful live performance make their concerts a shared celebration between the musicians and the audience.
