The 20th anniversary of the festival would not be complete without two giants of jazz who have penned some of its best pages. Lee Ritenour, a living guitar legend, with more than three thousand recording sessions, winner of a Grammy Award and nineteen time nominee, considered one of the best jazz guitarist of all time; and Dave Grusin, pianist and composer extraordinaire, cofounder of the prestigious record label GRP, winner of seven Grammy Awards, and one of the best soundtrack composers for movies likes “The Graduate”, “Three Days of Condor”, “The Champ”, “On Golden Pond”, “Tootsie”, The Fabulous Baker Boys” or Academy Award winner “The Milagro Beanfield War”. In Ritenour’s fourth visits to San Javier, and Grusin’s third, they will present their Lee Ritenour’s latest album, A Twist of Rit (Concord 2015), in which he collaborated with Dave Grusin along with Ernie Watts, Tom Kennedy, and David T. amongst others.
