At just 19 years old, pianist Brandon Goldberg has emerged as one of the brightest talents in the new wave of American jazz. David Foster has said of him, “He is one of the greatest young musicians I’ve ever had the privilege of working with,” and Downbeat magazine praises his “deep sense of swing and a clear, idea-filled playing style, executed near perfection.”
After an instrumental first set with his trio, Brandon will introduce his special guest, the brilliant vocalist Shenel Johns, one of the rising stars in U.S. vocal jazz. Since the age of 14, Shenel has worked to develop her unique style, which brings her closer to her two greatest influences: Sarah Vaughan and Abbey
