Born in 1984 in Fontainebleau, France, to a French father and a Dominican mother, Cyrille Aimée Daudel de León grew up in Samois-sur-Seine, the adopted home of guitarist Django Reinhardt and the site of the annual festival honoring the Gypsy Prince of Swing.

It was there that Cyrille fell in love with jazz, to which she brings a very personal blend of French melodies, Caribbean rhythms like bachata and merengue from her mother's native Dominican Republic, and the influence of the great jazz singers from the genre's golden age.

Winner of the Montreux International Jazz Vocal Competition and the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, Cyrille possesses, in addition to great musical talent, a captivating stage presence that transmits joie de vivre and optimism to her audience, as we witnessed during her first visit to Jazz San Javier. 2022.
