Ximo Tebar, the greatest jazz guitarist in the history of Spanish jazz, has a brilliant career behind him as an instrumentalist, composer, and teacher, which has led him to play on numerous occasions with illustrious musicians such as Benny Golson, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Lou Bennett, Joey DeFrancesco, Johnny Griffin, Pedro Iturralde, Tete Montoliu, Lou Donaldson, Anthony Jackson, Mike Mossman, and Jan Ackerman, among many others.

His extensive discography was enriched with two fantastic albums, “Live in Jazz San Javier,” following his last visit to our festival in 2023, where he was awarded the festival's Lifetime Achievement Award.

On this occasion, Ximo presents his new project with a new band, a collection of great musicians with whom he offers a reinterpretation of classic and modern jazz standards from the perspective of this brilliant guitarist.
