A spectacular finale to the 28th edition of the festival, with a brilliant and innovative project that blends jazz, rock, and world music, featuring four great musical talents:
Dave Weckl, considered one of the best and most spectacular drummers of all time, who has collaborated on projects with artists such as George Benson, Paul Simon, Michel Camilo, Madonna, Mike Stern, Diana Ross, Robert Plant, and Lee Ritenour. Their 1999 concert with the Dave Weckl Band, their 2008 performance with Metro Special Edition, their 2015 concert with Chris Min Doky & The Nomads, and especially their 2018 concert with Chick Corea's Akoustic Band—which many consider one of the best concerts in the festival's history—are golden memories in the festival's history.
Richard Bona, an exceptional bassist and singer with a unique vocal timbre that highlights his African roots and whose great charisma has made him an icon of jazz and African popular music.
The group is completed by pianist Michael Lecoq, one of the most highly regarded figures on the French jazz scene, and the spectacular Italian guitarist Ciro Manna, producer and driving force behind the project.
