
Trombonist Rafa M. Guillén, born in Bétera (Valencia), has a long career in which he has belonged to the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cordoba Orchestra and the Bilbao Municipal Band. He has collaborated with great musicians such as Enrique Morente, Tomatito, Miguel Poveda, Joan Manuel Serrat, Miguel Ríos, Omara Portuondo, Ara Malikian, Randy Brecker, Otis Grand, etc.
With his group The Jazz Walkers, with whom he has recorded two albums, "Excited Sounds" and "Shining Forever," featuring prestigious guest musicians, they offer a fusion of jazz with Brazilian, Cuban, funk, and flamenco rhythms, full of creativity, rhythm, and good taste.
At Jazz San Javier, they also present a very special guest, the Cuban singer and flautist, based in Madrid, Amanda (Amy) Gaviria, for a celebration where beauty arises from the free encounter between diverse musical roots.
