Acid Jazz is a musical genre that emerged in London in the late 1980s and achieved great worldwide success in the 1990s, fusing elements of funk and soul with jazz, and touches of Latin and disco music. The three bands that gave it the greatest international exposure were The Brand New Heavies, Incognito, and Jamiroquai.
The Brand New Heavies, formed in 1985 by Simon Bartholomew, Andrew Levy, and Jan Kincaid, added N’Dea Davenport in 1990 and began a decade of consecutive hits that made them a true icon of the new musical genre, selling over two and a half million records.
It is a great pleasure for Jazz San Javier to present this legendary band, for the first time in the Region of Murcia, in a concert that is a dream for any fan of good music.
